But... but... please explain this, then.
On level 7 there is a totally enclosed area of 5 spaces, one of which contains a pool, the rest don't contain anything special.
Suppose you teleport to some square in this enclosed area, dive into the pool and kill all monsters you might find there. Then you run out of Spell Points. And you don't have any Homing Stones.
What do you *NOW* do? The monsters won't regenerate unless you go back to town, which you can't do. The pool also doesn't replenish, and AFAIK you can't dive into empty pools, so you can't drown yourself.
This means you'll either have to find some other way of committing suicide, or accept the fact that the game instance has got permanently stuck.
