Help!! Can't get anmore dynamite

I have 4 more perylitiom shards from the room where where the rubbish pile was. But Carson won't give me anymore dynamite for it. I know I need to go to Burton, but I can't get the cola for the kid -- since I can't get Vera out of her room. I'm stuck!!!!
