POA Sandstone Caverns

I can't find the sandstone caverns! Where are
they? I've been through the mines time and
again, crossed the river both times, done
everything I can possibly do.

What am I missing? I'm pretty far along in the
game, I think...Johnson is waiting to plant the
bomb, I've opened Sawyer's safe...what next?
