Level 4 is doable with a level 9 party. Generally you should have at least some of your characters level 10 or 11 though. Bring at least two spellcasters who know powerful attack spells and use them on the hordes of bats, bears and cougars that attack you on level 4.

Level 5 isn't that hard once you beat level 4. It's on level 6 when it starts getting really nasty.
