Aaugh! It pops up!

I'm seeing all these new popup ads on Rinkworks that manage to circumvent the blue bar with its handy little 'x' button. On top of that, the button that you click on to close the window is below the scrolling controls. The ad is white, so on Rinkworks' white background it took me a while to find this tiny litle 9-point font button.

I don't see how "trapping" less kanny (if that's possible (also: ha!)) users could possibly encourage sales...

Will other online advertisers follow this annoying trend?
