The Druid's HP will decrease at a rate determined by his resistance to poison, and increase at a rate determined by his level. Whether his Druidity has more or less effect than the poison depends on the rates of both, but I expect a Druid of full strength would lose a single HP sporadically and then quickly pick it up again as he heals.

By the end of my game I never bothered curing poison, because even my Assassins were carrying healing items that more than cancelled out what little effect the poison had on them.
