There are 10 years between my youngest sister and me, and that was always very interesting. I generally looked about three years older than I really was, so I got a lot of strange looks when people thought I was a 16-year-old with a 3-year-old daughter. If I saw people giving me funny looks, I'd say in a loud tone, "OK, let's go find OUR mom." In retrospect, I doubt that message got through to those clueless people.

Of course, I was at the age where such a thing was rather horrible. If that happened to me today, I would burst out laughing at the idea of my having a 13-year-old daughter.
