I don't know what the situation is like, but I have to side with Balanthalus anyway. I have never been able to respect the expectation that people understand what you want/need if you don't say what you want/need and mean what you say.

Even if her reasons for not mentioning anything explicitly to you are, for whatever reason, *understandable*, still I cannot conceive of any situation, no matter how dark or extreme, where it is your *fault* for not acting to meet demands of hers that she never made.
