Actually, This is more about the soundtrack.

The "Lament for Gandalf", in the woods of Lothlorien, is in both Sindarin and Quenya. The first verse is Quenya, the second and third verses are Sindarin. This is made clear in the cover notes, so it's deliberate. I'm wondering is there a good reason why, other than to show off that Peter Jackson knows his Elvish?
