Ok, I'm writing this as I am doing this on the game. When you get to the store (right outside of it), go west. It will say "You are on a low ledge overlooking a rugged river flowing to the northeast." Then you go south 2 times until you can't go south any longer. There will be a boat there if you didn't already wreck it. Take that up the river and there you go. With the guy ath the store, you have to give him a diamond from the cave on the other side. If you couldn't get one, try kicking them first before trying to take one. Don't worry about being a pain. I'm like that a lot at times. Hope that helps out some what.
