Funny, I could fathom the same. But I wouldn't major in anything math related or even take anything math related. I'm sticking to writing and the arts since that's the field I'm interested in. But what should I shoot for? I was going to go into animation, but I like to write, and I'm no longer interested in animating a character on screen, in fact, I rather create it. Character design is a possability and I love to draw. Do people go to collage for comics?
But, if you need advice, take whatever you feel will get you the best job, and be sure to get a job that you like. I'm not a math person, but if you like math, take math that's relevant to the field you're interested in, whatever that may be.
