My self-editor/filter is becoming harsher. Or maybe it's always been this way, and I just haven't listened to it until now.

> Had I been asked to guess your age based on your previous posts, I'd have said you were in your 20's. Beyond that, as Monkey and BG have said: Your opinions are at least as valid as those of anyone else.

I'm 16. And thank you.

I thought that since a lot of you were older than me, that made you more mature and, well, better. I know that isn't always the case, but I needed somebody to tell me that. And it helps me feel like I've been accepted into the group. Which is something else I need to work on - my desire to fit in and be loved by the general public. [bittersweet :^p]

> Again, to echo Monkey: if you think enough of your opinion to post it, then I will think enough of it to read it. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Although a little less of the self pity would probably be nice.

The problem has been, I haven't thought that much of my opinion before now - mainly because I posted so much that was meaningless, and it outweighed the good in my mind, and if I did post something worthwhile I didn't think it out completely and I didn't phrase it in the proper way. I'm learning more and more that just talking to people and saying what I want is a lot like writing a book, you have to figure out what you're going to say and how you're going to say it first, or you get drivel that nobody understands.
