Yes, and I realize that thinking of New Englanders in general as cold and austere is a stereotype. Honestly, most of the New Englanders I've met in person were not like that at all, and I haven't been up there often enough or long enough to get a true impression of the populace in general. I was speaking from what my wife has told me, from her experiences growing up there.
