This has been reiterated far past the point of exhaustion, so I'll answer before Sam has to again.

RinkWorks regular or newbie "status" is nothing. Some people feel like a regular after a day, some like a newbie after a year. It really doesn't matter. If you like the site, keep coming and keep enjoying it. The Forum does have its own sort of culture, which you'll get used to if you decide to hang around.
