Just wanted to say that even though I don't post here too often (not enough time!), I still lurk here often and really appreciate reading intelligent, thoughtful discussions that always happen here. It seems to be the only place on the 'Net where it happens anymore...I visit the alt.music.billy-joel newsgroup fairly frequently and every other thread--heck, every thread--is some petty argument over one thing or the other. Of course, when someone doesn't agree with their opinions, they are "arrogant" and "close-minded"...it's ridiculous.

By far, though, the nastiest online environment I've ever seen is the message board at benfolds.com. Apparently, all Ben Folds fans feel they have the supreme right to be complete idiots.

Okay, sorry for ranting...I'm done.
