Yeah, I tend to agree. A family friend used to be an optician and was always very wary of advising people wanting to have that surgery. Being an average of -6 in each eye myself, I will also continue to use contacts.

Absolutely! They're the only pair you're ever going to get so take the best care of them that you can. Wearing hard lenses, as I do, means definitely don't wear them to sleep, unless you want them to weld themselves in.
