You mean have them smack into you? They
are behind you, after all. Anyway, when I
mentioned tapping on the brakes in my earlier
post, what I meant was doing so so lightly that
you don't actually do any braking. We're talking
just enough pressure to make your brake
lights come on. You definitely don't want to do
any sudden slamming on the brakes when
someone's tailgating.
