Way back in January, 2001, I do believe, I was
writing a paper on As I Lay Dying by William
Faulkner, and was doing research on the
internet. I stumbled across the book-a-minute,
and found it rather amusing. I read all the
other ones (in short time, no less ;-) ), and
proceeded to the main page to see what else
this site had on it. I read all of the other
features, and one day in early July 2001,
noticed on the side that there was a message
forum and a chat room. I decided to try the
message forum first, and liked what I saw.
Even considering that I tried to steal
someone's name. ;-) On August 14, 2001, I
decided to venture into Chat, and *really* liked
what I saw there, and decided to keep coming
back. Luckily (for me at least), I did that.
