"Rosanna McCoy starred Farley Grainger and Gene Evens. Gene was a beautiful girl who spelled her name like a man. In the movie, she and Grainger played younger members of two feuding families. It was basically a love story and in those days, true love always won in the end.

In one of the best scenes, she hears a sound outside her cabin. She goes out the door and into the woods. Somehow she knows that this man she has never spoken to, but has admired from afar, is out there making the noise. As I remember it was a bird or insect sound. She walks slowly along a path, looking from side to side. Suddenly, he steps out from behind a tree. Does she scream and run in terror? Not in the movies. She jumps right into his arms. The scene had no dialog.
