At my house, we also add rules:

6) Liberation of POWs--your captured pieces quietly reapppear on the board when your opponent's not looking.

..and

7) Distraction by Obnoxious Singing--preferably loud, off key Broadway show tunes while your opponent's trying to concentrate on their move. Accompanying dramatic hand gestures, which may or may not "accidentally" knock over a piece or two, are also included if you're really behind.
