Lou Ferrigno: Harvester of Souls

I thought that this might interest the unofficial Lou Ferrigno fan club that is Rinkworks: he was on last night's Banzai.

He was competing against a Priest and a Rabbi for the mortal soul of a baby called Danny. The three competitors were seated on three excercise bikes, and began to pedal up to the simulated speed of 20mph. In a non-violent Speed-style way, dropping below 20mph disqualified them. The Priest was the first to go after just a minute, and so it was down to Lou and the Rabbi. Lou was having difficulties, dropping to 20.4mph at one point while the Rabbi maintained the Speed of God, but good old Lou dug into his reserves and exploded back to 24mph just as the Rabbi was beginning to tire. Net result, Lou won. Woohoo.

Oh, and more Rinkie news. In the ad break after the show, a Benecol low-fat spread commercial saw someone opening their door to a double glazing salesman and proudly stating, "I am coming from Finland."

Matthew out.
