Today is a balmy 9 degrees. It's beautiful compared to yesterday, when it was 30 below. ::Brr:: I don't know how true this is, but I overheard someone mention that Logan Canyon (UT, several miles from where I live) was the coldest place in North America. All I know is that the University at the mouth of the canyon was absolutely miserable. There is nothing like walking between classes with the canyon winds.

Ship'em out here. . .we got over two feet of new snow in addition to the foot of snow already there. You said something about global warming. . .I seem to recall a news report where they said that global warming trends appeared to be reversing. But, this is entirely unsubstantiated. All I know is that it's very snowy here, biggest storm in over 100 years. My textiles teacher mentioned in class that her parents, who live 30 miles North of the Mexican border, got 1 inch of snow. The thing that makes me laugh is that Salt Lake City has very little snow, and that there are actually patches ground showing! Granted, I heard this from someone else. . .I didn't actually see this first hand.

Good luck with the daffodils, though!
