The green flash

There is a legend about the sunset in tropical regions. It is said that if you watch closely as the last bit of the sun drops below the horizon, you will see a green flash. It's small, it's quick, but it's bright. Some people look, but never see it. If you are in Key West at sunset, you need to position yourself at the west end of Duval Street. On Hawaii, go to the Kona Coast. I saw it from the U.S. Virgin Islands. I was on top of a Cruise ship in the harbor of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, luckily, with camera in hand.
