I've found Darius but don't know what to do now. Need an old focus stone. Couldn't take the crate. Have been wandering between Larosis and the village and need a hint on what/where to try.

Inventory is:

59 gold coins
magic armor
life preserver
guard's sword
stone of strengthening
food rations
dead fish
bucket
rope
wire clippers
portrait

A small hint, please?
