Stuck in the VERY first part!

I got clearance for the lifts in my room and stuff and the vending machine in the dining hall is damaged and shut tight. Plus I need to get a gun for a kid. Hints would be nice. I have:

Fire extinguisher
Passcard
Washcloth
Leather briefcase
I.D. card
Plastic cup
Employment papers
