OKay, a couple of things.
#1. In the marble room, if you search around you'll find a place to use your clear focus stone. those light patterns are pretty aren't they? Kinda of like those light patterns sent by a rotating disco ball, aren't they?
#2. the shack at home is empty, and there's nothing in there. RIght now. However, an item that you find later will help you when you cme back to that shack, and help you get another item that you need to get a third item that you need to get a fourth item to save the amphibious people next to the walled desert city that's right around the corner from where you are right now. (In the marble room).
