I spent Saturday at an IT recruitment fair that's normally the largest in Britian, but because no-one's hiring at the moment, there were only a half-dozen companies there instead of the usual 30. A couple seemed interested in me, though.

Today, I've been going through "Computing" magazinze and writing off to every recruitment agancy that advertises. Again, there are far fewer than there were about 8 months ago.

So, all in all, it's not the best time to be made redundant, but I fully expect to have a new job soon enough.
