Tell them that there are probably 400,000,000 Arabs (Is that number accurate? I don't know, it's just a guess) in the world. There are also about 20 (another guess) terrorist groups in the Arab world, each consisting of (another guess) 2000 people. Which would be 40,000 terrorists out of 400,000,000. The sample is "relevantly different from the population as a whole". Many (almost certainly a majority) of Arabs are Muslims who know that Islam preaches tolerance (and you pointed this out in another post). I think telling your coworkers this might help.
