Brackly Hall - Stuck

Hey everybody. I feel utterly stuck in the game The Mystery of Brackly Hall. I can't think of anything else to do, besides try the several hundred possible combinations on the Sphinx box and in the Chapel. The idiot took my Bacon Sandwich and Lavender without helping me. I found this Gold Key, but I don't know what it opens. I obtained the Cog Wheel, but I don't know what it's for. I found the Stone Head, and I think there was a headless statue somewhere, but now I can't find it. My inventory is as follows:

Acorns
Lavender
Spade
Iron Key
Silver Key
Gold Key
Pocket Knife
Cogwheel
Tourist Brochure
Stone Head
Feather
Translated Papyrus
Birdseed
Map of Brackly Hall
Map of the Maze

Could anyone please help me? I would greatly appreciate it.
