When I was little, I had a Raggedy Ann doll that was as big as me. I wore my doll's clothes, and my mom painted a red triangle on my nose and added some larger freckles.

Another year, I was a tree, dressed in brown with green crepe paper leaves stuck all over me.

My mom made me a Night Sky costume in high school, and I think I still have it. She got a dark blue sheet, then painted little stars and constellations all over it. People give me funny looks when I tell them about the costume, but then they're impresssed when they actually see it.

The last time I dressed up was when my roommates helped a few years ago. I told them I'd dress up if they found me a costume, and the first thing they found was a boa made of black and white feathers. Yes, I became Cruella DeVille that year. That was also the same year that my tiny roommate dressed up as Darth Vader (she loved her mask), fell down the stairs, and was heard mumbling things through the mask at the bottom of the stairs. She wasn't hurt, so we all laughed for about five minutes.

And then we come to this year. Someone's trying to get me to dress up, but I'm still not extremely interested. I think I feel the same way I did a few years ago: I'll dress up if someone else helps me with the costume. I'm not extremely creative in that area, so I think I should just pull clothes out of my closet and see what happens. Unless any Rinkies have suggestions, that is.
