The first example I can think of is the Lifehouse song, "Hanging By a Moment." It's been all over the radio and MTV for months, yet I still blast it whenever I hear it. I dunno...it's just weird (at least to me) why some songs are like that (although different songs to different people, of course). I mean, HBAM isn't even an intricate song...the vocalist doesn't have the greatest voice in the world...yet something about it just leaves me riveted and I can't help loving it.

It's suitable for every occasion, since no one dislikes Paul Simon and it's good for background music, driving, parties, whatever.

I have the same feeling about "Graceland". I once have listened to it continuously for almost 18 hours during a railway trip in China a decade ago. I think it got engraved in my head. But even today, any time I hear it played somewhere, in the store, in the mall, my heart beat with its rhythem.

Also some of the Beatles' songs. such as "Hey jude" and "yellow submarine". It's hard to explain why. It's just won't go, and boy, I love it.
