...so basically what it all boils down to is
figuring out which "revelations" are true and
which ones are not. Every religion has its
prophet(s), from Mohammed to Joseph Smith
to Buddha; they each had a different revelation
about who God is and how people can relate
with Him and attain Heaven/Paradise. They
can't all be right.

They can't all be right, and every person has
the responsibility to search out and decide
who or what they are going to believe / believe
in. Most people who have already made that
decision feel that it is necessary to tell others
about it; about what we feel is the right and
ultimate answer. Many religions direct their
followers to proselytize; it is a natural
outflowing of "having the Truth." But again, they
can't all be right.

I'm just "thinking out loud" again. I actually
have a lot more than this running through my
brain right now, but I think it's best if I don't type
it up right now.
