... which reminds me: How many children does it take to make a "large family"? Let's assume that the parents stay together. I think we can all agree that 0 or 1 child is a "small family". For me, 2 or 3 becomes a "medium sized family", 4, 5 or 6 "large", and above that "extraordinarily large". But I have recently spoken to several people who considered 4 or 5 children "normal", i.e. "medium". What (and why?) do you think?
