I only ask because on my birthday last year (April 25th, if anyone's interested...no? that's a surprise) me and my family went off to Dover Castle for the day. Great place, that, complete with interactive tours and so on...what am I talking about? I thought this was about hovercrafts.

As I was saying, however, it was certainly there, and if it wasn't going cross-channel where was it going? There were a couple of SeaCats around the place too...

Well, the Coast Guard here uses them, mainly to break ice in the winter in not-so-deep places, or places-with-lots-of-reefs, wich the st-Laurence is FULL OFF.

I mean heck, Lake St-Pierre, if it wasn't for the channel, would have a nearly negative average deep.

Anyway. They also use them for some rescue work, I've heard, when someone's stuck on a small island or something. Or so I've seen on that show about Girls-with-special-jobs.

Anyway. Had to make a non-arguing post today.
