1) Personal favorite proverd : Theories aren't practical. Unless you've demonstrated the phenomenon, you can't be sure - Maybe the ball would have just danced the lambda.

2) PR. Show kids videos of astronauts feeding a ant colony. Note their level of interest. Show video of astronauts playing ball. Watch level of approval soar.
