Actually, in Gatineau, they sometime set up fake police cars painted on cardboard. It works in slowing peoples down, and it takes quite a while for peoples to get it...

Kinda bright. It makes peoples slow down, and it doesn,t cost much. When you think about it, the whole point of giving fines is so peoples don't go too fast, uh?
