That's one of the things I was looking forward to when I moved Up North. It's one of the things I missed, living in Texas. So there I was, all set to start a-shovelin' snow when we had the four mildest winters ever.

(Well, last New Year's we had a load of snow dumped on us, but that was it for that winter.)

All these stories about how they have horrible winters around New York City? Lies. Why, one year (it was either '98 or '99), it was about 70 degrees in the first two week so January! And humid!

Fah. Our snow shovel died of loneliness. "Won't it snow so you can use me?" it asked. But no snow.
