So you would have been better off blissfully ignorant of the bad impression people had/have of you?

> I never said anything about performing an act of terrorism, unless you count waving an American flag as terrorist activity. If that is the case, nearly every person in the country is a terrorist.

You can just as easily have one waving on your home. Or stick it on your car to wave in the wind. It's not illegal to wave the flag, but how were you planning on waving it?

> The phrase I used is not a racial slur, and was an accurate description of the owners of the establishment.

Of course. "Shopkeepers" or "proprietors" would have been insufficient.

> They are Arabic, as for what religion they are, I do not know. They do walk around with a cloth garment wrapped around their head, hence the name I gave them.

Same way if I call the people who actively participate in Rink Chat "Rinky-dinks." What I said can only be applied to those with an cranium wrapped in fabric, and not the entire Arab race or Muslim religion.

So. Was it intended to be derogatory? I'm sure that was the point.

> As you live no place near my hometown and know nothing of the story behind the owners of the restuarant, I am unable to take you seriously on your comment about the "innocence" of these individuals.

You mean, they assisted the terrorists? Or are you smokescreening again?

> I apologize for those who I offended last night, I now know that you're mind is prey to the stereotypical image of the Arabic people.

So we got the towel bit of the image, you got the bomb bit. Which is the worse part?

Your choice. I'd retreat too, if your words were mine.
