I follow this 15 year old link then suddenly see the whole evolution/creationism debate prop up. I'll heed Sam's 2 year old advice and not delve into it, but I'll ask another question that's been on my mind.
Why do people so fervently defend/attack Darwin (little footed-fish on the tails of cars for instance) while leaving the physicists, Stephen Hawkings for example, unscathed? Having grown up on science, I've always felt that physics was the most religious of the scientific fields. It's the field that tries to explain where we all came from, what the heavens are, action and reaction, and how we relate to the universe. Darwin, Darwin just said we evolved.
