Mina and I thought we saw a ghost one night. Back when we were in school, we had gone to the grocery store one night to pick some stuff up, and we were walking back to campus at about three o'clock (a.m.). Once we had arrived on campus (but before we got back to where we were going), Mina suddenly grabbed my arm. I turned around (figuring she had seen a bat or somesuch), and I saw the shadow on the wall.

This shadow was about nine feet tall, and was of a man with an elongated head and an outstretched arm, and he was pointing to what would have been his left, if he were facing us. But there was nothing casting it. I traced the black trails to their source, and they just stopped. It was pretty freaky (I was more excited than anything else, but she was scared unto the death), and we didn't stop to examine it too closely.

I went back the next morning and, sure enough, it was still there. It was actually someone's art project - a platic shadow. In the daylight, obviously so, but, at three o'clock in the morning, with the poor light in the area, it passed for a prety convincing phenomenon.
