I don't remember if I've mentioned this here in the forum before, but I know I have in chat, so some RinkyDinks already know about it (and have even tried to trick me into it! Shame on you!).

I have an analog wristwatch with a small date window in the regular spot -- at 3. For the longest time, about three out of four times I would look at my watch to check the date, it would be just about exactly fifteen minutes (give or take half a minute or so) past the whole hour, so that the long hand would obstruct my view of the date window. And every time it happened, I would exclaim some sort of surprised sound and start laughing to myself, saying "It happened AGAIN!".

But more in the alley of YOUR experience, something similar happened to me the other day. I was reading a Norwegian comic about a girl called Nemi, who is in a bar in that particular strip. She sends mobile text messages to two other guys in the bar, signing them with the other guy's name and saying something that the receiver would get angry about ("I've been dating your girlfriend while you've been playing squash" and "I took pictures of your mother in your bathroom, how much will you pay me for not putting them online"?). In the last panel, as they are fighting in the background, she thinks (with an evil smile): "Connecting people." And JUST as I cast my eyes on those words, a Nokia commercial ended on TV, the voiceover saying those EXACT words.

Trav"brrr... chills! And odds!"holt.
