Think of it as a "new beginning" and moving on with your life! Make it one of "Sundragyn's Excellent Adventures". You will have many of these in your life and it is up to you to make the best of them. Don't be afraid - be positive. Victoria is one of the nicest cities in the West with a whole lot going on. If you've ever visited dorms, it is impossible to get lonely. Usually an open door policy and it's one big family. Be the first one to arrange a Hawaiian potluck night (or some other Social event if you're not allowed to cook in your dorm) for the first Friday or Saturday night. You'd be surprised how many people in your dorm are going to be scared the first couple days. Most students come out of their shell the first week. Oh, the one thing to be VERY VERY afraid of is the line-up at the Bookstore on the first day or two where you are doing your studies!!
