Let's start by saying I never remember my dreams. Sometimes I'll wake up and think "That was a wierd dream", but I'll have forgotten every detail by the time I've finished thinking that. For me, remembering dreams is like getting an eel into a jar, and if you've ever tried that you'll know how tricky it is.

Anyway.

I was in New York visiting Sam and Leen where they were living. They lived on the street, which isn't to say they were homeless - they had all the mod cons, including the biggest home cinema system I've ever seen. They just didn't have any walls. With typical dream logic it made perfect sense.

I don't much remember the early parts. But Leen went off riding Timmy around the city, and I started showing Sam some bits of film I had spliced together to turn a half dozen different films into a new one. Backgrounds from one film, characters from others... you get the idea.

He was polite about them, but looking back, these were technically skilled but completely lacking in artistic merit.

Then I gave him a big sheaf of paper (with photos attached quite frequently) for him to look through as we wandered around the city / his house. I think it was a script of some kind. Don't really remember.

As we're walking, we get attacked by muggers (although actually Wes had sent them to kill me), and Sam sort of vanishes. There's a struggle, and I remember using the line "Alright then, you leave me no choice" before turning one of them into a wisp of smoke. The others run in the face of my awesome disintegration powers, and I set about finding Sam again.

I make my way to somewhere. The only thing I remember is a traffic light. Then a girl comes up to me, and gives me the stack of paper back, telling me Sam's dead. As you can imagine, this was a bit of a shock.

Then Sam reappears very much not dead. We have a bit of an emotional moment, and a conversation (mostly forgotten), that gets as far as Sam saying "Hah! I'm not that easy to kill!"

And then the people in the next room wake me up as they go down to breakfast.

Well, there you have it. Patchy and nonsensical, but I thought you ought to know.

winter"Wes: next time you try and kill me, it'll be you I disintegrate :)"mute
