Yeah, I oversimplified that one. I was trying to make a concise statement at the expense of turning the world inte Black & White. Have we ever seen that done before....

However, if one accepts that evil is relative - that is, one must have evil in order to know good - then one may hope that one day, the world has improved to the point where unhappiness is the most evil there exists.
But then again, I was arguing that some amount of unhappiness was a good thing - and hence it cannot be evil.
