I'm not so sure I understand this argument... Kids have breaks/recesses/lunch and the like, and if they want to spend the time somewhere quiet (I remember spending a fair amount of time in the library during grade school), that should be their choice. Expecting all kids to take a quiet break in the middle of class to relax/focus is probably not the best of the ideas. Not only does it cut down time that could be spent learning, I highly doubt that most kids would take such a thing seriously, thus ruining it for the few who would.
