You said before that neither one should
control the other. I think that's what it means.
But do you honestly think that a complete
absence of religion from politics and vice
versa is even possible? How can it be?

Every single person on this planet has an
opinion, a worldview. People are religious,
and people are political. You go to a church,
and you're going to meet people who have
certain political views. You go to a courthouse,
and you're going to interact with people who
have certain religious views. Religion and
politics naturally interact and effect each other,
like it or not. This is what I'm getting at.
