I tried to take notes while on my trip to Europe. Really, I did. I had a nice notebook and everything. And I started out just great. The problem was that it degenerates.

On the first day, I wrote a bit at each airport we stopped at.

Up until the 5th day I wrote a faithful log of the day's happenings in there. Sometimes these were up to three hand-written pages long.

From the 6th day until the 15th day I wrote the day's date and then some brief scribbles about what I did... i.e. the 'entry' for July 26 says "Met Beasty, went to the Cabinet War Rooms, Science Museum, saw The Lion King."

After July 28th I wrote nothing. Shame on me. Of course, in my defense the last week was a very lazy, relaxed week in a small narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal in the English countryside, so there wasn't much to distinguish one day of pretty countryside and lazing on the roof from the rest.

I tried, really! At some point I will type up what I wrote and flesh out the scribbled note-entries. If anyone still cares, that is.
