Fanatical environmentalism may be more what you're looking for, or something, but I think "people who are too ethical" are not the people you really despise.

What I'm talking about is people who think every thing that lives or will live should be safe against any possible harm, i.e. people who protest against stem cell research. Yeah, "ethical" is the wrong word for the idiots at PETA, but I do despise people who are too ethical. I'm not saying I hate everybody and we should revert to a primitive state and kill people whenever we want to, but I think it's more wrong to protest against research than to do the research. If these ethical fanatics weren't around, we could do whatever we wanted. If we spent long enough, we could develop genetic engineering that would produce humans that never die of old age. But, since it MIGHT POSSSIBLY DISTURB SOMETHING, however small of a disturbance it is, these people won't let it happen. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the right to live and all that. If you handed me a gun and asked me to shoot someone, I couldn't do it. Not for a billion dollars.
