I'm an avid fan of motor-racing, both in Europe and in the US. In particular I like F1, CART, IRL and NASCAR.

That isn't the point, though. Later this year, the CART championship will be making it's first foray for over 20 years to the UK, to a new oval track. This oval is near Derby, in a city called... Rockingham.

There's also a Rockingham Oval in the US, however (I think it's in Ohio, but I can't remember), where NASCAR (and possibly IRL, although I can't remember that either) race. Luckily, they're not racing in the UK... yet.

I can just imagine the scene: "Can you remember that race at Rockingham last year?" "Which one?"
