On the ride home, I was told once again that I might have to drive. Once again I was not happy, since I wanted to sleep. We left around 11 p.m. We got to sleep a few times, between the potty breaks and the gas breaks. Then in the morning, somewhere near Flagstaff, the trailer on the lead van that is carrying all our luggage, blew a tire and ripped off the wheel wall and fender on the trailer...or vice versa. There was no spare for the trailer. So we unhitched it, and went on to town. McDonalds had just opened, so we went in. had a light breakfast, then I started feeling sick again. I am not the best traveler. Melissa got me some pepto and made me take a nap in Mikey D's. Three hours later, the lead van showed up again, with a new tire on the trailer, and big wood panel on the side. All was good again. I never had to drive. Got home somtime around 3. Melissa's parents picked us up, and I had a light lunch/supper at their house. We both toook a nap around 7, woke up at 11, then decided it was too late to take me home, so we went back to sleep. I finally made it home the next day, and there was much rejoicing.

Saturday, Melissa and I celebrated our anniversary a day late. She had planned a night out on her. We met earlier in the day to go shopping....for a ring. Not engagment, but a really old-fashioned thing called a promise-ring. I know it sounds kinda silly, but we aren't ready to be engaged. But I know we will get married. So I got her the ring to show that promise. And I keep my promises. She saw one that she just fell in love with, a 10 carat gold ring with real diamonds, on sale. I asked how much she loved it, and she said, "A whole bunch". So I bought it for her. Saturday night was awesome. We ate at Olive Garden, and talked all night. I was too tired to go anywhere else, so we went home and played Scrabble with her mom. Then I decided I should spend at least one night at my house and said goodnight.

Well, hope I didn't ramble on too much
